Newsletter
The counseling center staff works with their students to provide academic, behavioral and emotional support, assist with planning and goal setting, promote self-advocacy skills and assist in the development of positive relationships with peers and adults. They also work with their students to help them understand the importance of balance in their lives and ways to achieve it.
In order for the counseling center to be successful, it is important for them to develop strong connections with students, families and school staff alike. In an effort to cultivate these connections and relationships a newsletter will be used as one of several forms of communication with the school community. We are hopeful that this tool will provide beneficial information related to an array of issues inclusive of mental health, tips for academic success, important counseling school events, parenting skills and updated information regarding age-related developmental issues that may affect our students.
